Designed by Phil Rhodes and built by O’Day Yachts and later by Stuart Marine, the Mariner 19 is a rugged small trailerable sloop that sails very well and has a cuddy cabin for weekending as well. There are two full sized forward berths and a spot for a stove and a portable toilet. Fore and aft she is filled with positive flotation for safety. Her cockpit has a small cooler and another locker. She steers with a tiller and the transom hung rudder is kick up.
