Hooper's Yachts is in her 38th year of business and brings to you over 40 years of sailing experience . We offer you expertise in all areas of sailing including cruising, racing and day sailing. Our staff members have cruised extensively on offshore salt water and great lakes passages, raced on more boats than we could count - both one-design and handicap club competition. We not only know how to sail, but we understand sailboat rigging, systems and maintenance. Over the years we have sold thousands of boats - both sail and power, from small dinghies to large offshore cruising yachts.  To put it briefly, we have experience know how & an understanding of boat supplies, service, transportation and are recognized for quality, fairness and smiles. We just recently sold our 5 acre boat yard. So, we no longer offer storage, boat hauling and a full -fledged service department. We are focusing mostly on boat sales and continue to be this area's J/Boat dealer. We can help with some of your needs for boat equipment and some rigging and what we cannot do, we can get done for you. The bottom line is we can now focus completely on boat sales, but still have the expertise of boat repair & their condition to help you navigate throught issues and we have sources for dealing with these needs. We have connections with brokers all over the country to help find your boat and they often contact us when we have something to fulfill their customer needs - another asset for being in the business so long. We can help you find a place to put your boat and we can help you with our knowledge of sailing areas and marinas. Our understanding of boats can help you cut through the maze of what boat fits your needs, based on your priorities and how and where you wish to use your boat.  We can provide you with surveyors who work for you and not us and are disinterested parties to assure the boat you are buying is in good condition. We can do all the paperwork required for  a boat purchase or sale and that includes USCG documented vessels.

Triad Trailers

Triad Trailers are normally provided under new J/Boats, but they build trailers for all kinds of boats & Hooper's Yachts is a Triad dealer. Simply call us to obtain a quote to suit your application. This J/125 picture is an extreme example of how Triad can meet just about every need. Triad uses the best in structural steel framework, the right axle & brake combination, wheels & tires, lights & know where to put the keel & hull supports for a safe ride. Their trailers come painted with a choice of standard colors (others optional).
