The Bavaria 30 Cruiser is the answer for the smaller "yacht" buyer. At 32 feet overall, the 30 Cruiser has more displacement than its predecessor and boasts more sail area on over two more foot mast height, indicating an even better sailing performance. A fuller hull shape also allows for a larger interior volume that retains the same ample light and ventilation evident in all Bavaria models. The 30 Cruiser also has the same "yacht" feel as all the other Bavaria cruiser models taking full benefit of the lighter mahogany woodwork that is a signature of the new Bavarias. Add to all this, the no compromise construction benefits obtained with the use of a full interior "grid" system and the 30 Cruiser is definitely a yacht whose cruising potential is as limitless as the imagination of the owner.

Like all Bavaria Yachts, the Bavaria 30 will come equipped with an impressive list of standard equipment. To name a few, the Bavaria 30 comes with a double-spreader Selden' rig and a Furlex Jib Furling unit. To these, bend on the mainsail and roller furling headsail. The standard boom vang is a Selden' Rigid Vang. The bow and stern rail with double lifelines and 4 winches are also standard.

For power she sports the Volvo-Pena D1-20 18HP Saildrive. She is controlled with single lever control on the pedestal steering system with leather wheel.

Electronics include Raymarine ST-60 Tridata, Wind instruments and pedestal mounted compass. More electronics, installed by the manufacturer, are offered as options.

The Bavaria 30 offers two lush sleeping cabins in a with large double berths plus main salon settee berths port and starboard. Within the main salon is a full galley with gimbaled propane stove & oven, top-loading ice box with refrigeration, hot & cold pressure water and SS sink. Across is the navigation station with lift up chart table, dedicated seat, electrical panel (for dual battery 12v & shorepower systems including charger) & room for radios and repeater electronics. The cabin sole with a teak and holly appearance is made of maintenance-free "Never-Wear". The marine head has a completely private shower surrounded by easy to maintain surfaces.

The list goes on: Anchor locker & roller, halyards led to cockpit, H&C cockpit shower, teak cockpit seats and sole, elecctric & manual bilge pumps, tons of storage, opening ports deck hatches, SS boarding ladder, bronze through hulls, emergency tiller, rudder stock with self-adjusting bearings.

The artists renditions to the left depict the nice shear profile of the boat with modern keel shape and spade rudder. You can see the nearly, but not quite plumb bow which increases waterline length for speed as well as adds nice interior living space.

 The perspective picture here depicts what the option teak decks would look like. It really enhances the beauty of the boat. The cockpit is comfortable and the removable helmsperson seat enables easy exit to the swim platform which also is great for entering your dinghy. With 6 opening ports and 3 hatches, there's plenty of ventilation below.
