 THE NEXT STEP IS TO ADD A TUBE: 

Turn your Walker Bay 8 or 10 into a RIGID INFLATABLE DINGHY (RID) with the addition of a VARIABLE PROFILE DESIGN (VPD) tube. This unique design allows the sleek bow to gracefully cut through the water under moderate conditions while providing exceptional lateral stability when required.

Walker Bay's RID is the ideal balance of performance and safety in a tender. Larger cockpit space than a typical inflatable, a hull that tracks easily and puts out minimum wake and the versatility of adding a sail using the ADD-a System all combine to make the RID the most exciting boating innovatin in years!

With a light load & moderate seas the VPD tube does not touch the surface allowing the lapstrake hull to cut easitly through the water. In heavier seas or with larger loads, the VPD tube engages with the water as required adding dramatically to stabilit & buoyancy.
