This is a USCG documented classic steel Roamer that has its roots on Lake Superior out of Bayfield WI where she was, for many years, a charter fishing boat for the city.  She has a modified V-hull w/moderate beam and flat after sections w/ a 1 degree deadrise. She went through an extensive 5 year refurbishing by the previous owner and since has been kept in good condition.  During the refit she was repowered with twin diesel inboards which are in excellent condition. The port transmission was rebuilt in 2017. Access is very good from the helm station large bi-fold opening hatches (2). The batteries sit between the inboards are also easily accessed. The back deck is finished with a synthetic PlasDECK/CoolDECK Montauk w/White lines.  The foredeck and side walk ways are painted with Interdeck Nonskid.  The top of the doghouse is white as is the top over the helm station.  A sliding glass door separating the back deck and interior was installed by the previous owner to keep weather out of the helm area, which, when new, was open to weather with canvas. There’s a round opening deck hatch forward over the forepeak berths.  There are two new opening ports with screens and rain shields in the main salon.  The side windows in the helm area slide open. A double forepeak berth is quite comfortable and around 6’4” long.  Two counters and cabinets flank each berth and there are reading lights above each.  A hard-wired 115v cabin heater is installed beneath and works great. To port in the main cabin is a dinette which converts to a double (but never tried it).  A large, deep hanging locker with above shelf is just aft and a very large private head compartment is aft of that. There is a decent size vanity, oval sink with fresh water and a wall fan.  The toilet is new in 2017.  There is a mirror and lighting as well.  A full length mirror is attached to the head door.  Across from the head is the L-shaped Galley with sink and fresh water.  Dish racks and cupboards with sliding doors flank the counter top.  Drawers for utensils and a cupboard beneath the sink add to the storage.  Across from the dinette is a single settee berth with two huge drawers beneath.  There are curtains for all windows and opening ports. The interior is finished in a satin varnished mahogany and is in really nice condition.  A custom bug screen protects the lower main salon at the doorway. The hinged door and bifold overhead can be left wide open with no concern of flies or mosquitos. There are two bronze opening ports in the forepeak area with screens and the forward hatch has a screen as well.  The helm area has swivel helm chairs on hinged platforms that can be lowered to get them out of the way when trying to access the inboards.  The wheel is a classic spoked helm.  The electronics on the boat are very good and are clustered around the helms person.
