There are lots of luminaries behind the Endeavour history such as Charley Morgan, Ted Irwin, Vince Lazzara, the Valdez brothers (Columbia & Lancer) and Dennis Robbins. All had an influence on the beginnings of Endeavour founded by John Brooks & Rob Valdes in Largo FL.  The early boats were simple, straight forward boats with outboard chainplates, short rigs and strong, moderate hulls using a combination of poly resins and glass roving w/multi-directional chopped fibers. Built for Florida and the Bahamas, they sacrificed windward performance for the shallow water of those areas. Island Packets designer Bob Johnson joined Endeavour as a principle designer for a short spell, but it was not until the 1980’s where a new era in boat building arose demanding more performance-oriented designs and updated construction methods. The entrance of designer Bruce Kelley and Johan Velentijn (America’s Cup) was the turning point for Endeavour to improve performance. Newer boats used a more advanced construction method. Designed by Bruce Kelley, The Endeavor 33 is one of these newer designs and build quality.  She has a modified fin keel that performs quite well in tandem with the powerful double-spreader masthead, keel-stepped rig supported by inboard chain plates. The deck is easy to walk about on.  There are 6 opening side ports and two deck hatches not including the companionway. She has a pretty traditional interior layout with a double forepeak berth with a large head and shower arrangement between the forward cabin and main salon including a hanging locker and drawers. The main salon has an L-shaped dinette to port with settee to starboard. The galley is situations in L-Shaped form on the starboard side and on the port side there is a large double quarter berth for a total of 6 places to lay your head. The boat is currently being used by owners of 11 years. It is a fresh water boat only.  3 owners total.
