Designed by Sparkman and Stephens, the Tartan 30 is one outstanding sailing vessel and is considered one of Tartan Yachts most successful models. First introduced in 1970, Summer Spirit is one of the last in the run to be built. Offered in two interior configurations, this has what is called the aft cabin version with the typical forepeak double with the enclosed head just aft to port and hanging locker across and then the port and starboard settee berths in the main salon with the galley on the starboard side next to the companionway steps and a large quarter berth lies to port. The hull has a fin keel with the rudder on a skeg. Her sails bend on a masthead rigged mast. The exterior teak is in very good condition. The main and genoa are in excellent condition and are fairly new. Priced to sell quickly. Motivated seller.
