Roger MacGregor built thousands of these boats starting out in the 60’s with the Venture 22, then the Venture 222 in the 70’s and the MacGregor 22 in the 80’s. They are simple boats to rig, sail and keep up and their low profile on the trailer makes them launchable and retrievable on even the most shallow ramps. The hull design is really quite sleek and so the boats sail pretty fast – so there is fun factors in these inexpensive vessels. This boat is a very affordable way to get into a trailer able sailing vessel. She sleeps 4.
