Roger Hewson, founder and designer for many of the Sabre Yachts started his company in 1970 with the successful entry in the sailing market with the Sabre 28, which he built to be one of the best sailing and constructed sailboats ever and it took off. Then followed many more Sabres (16 designs) of which the Sabre 36 was one, introduced in 1985. Over 100 hulls were built. She sleeps 5 in two cabins plus a large quarter double berth. Her interior has lush teak and fabric and a teak and holly floor. A dinette is situated on the port side and converts to a double with the drop down table feature. The head and shower is large located between the main salon and forward cabin and boasts a double hanging locker. The galley is U-shaped with lots of counter space and storage. A Navigation table is directly across on the starboard side. The cockpit is T-shaped to accommodate the wheel and helm seat aft. The owner is getting out due to health issues. The boat was used this last season and it is reported that everything worked and was in good condition.
