The Lancer 25 was designed by W. Shad Turner and built in California as a comfortable trailerable sailboat.  The unique use of interior space offers standing headroom without the use of a pop top, yet maintaining a pleasing, sleek, low deck profile. This is accomplished with a step down recess in the keel sump. The shoal drafted, fixed keel and inboard spade rudder offers uncomplicated, safe and stable sailing.  The quality of the interior finish is outstanding.  The bulkheads are real teak and the cabinet doors are teak with for beauty.   There are 4 berths (2 settees & 2 quarter).  The cockpit is self-bailing, the mast is deck stepped and there is a rugged slotted aluminum toe rail. The head is enclosed behind the forward V-Sail storage area with a curtain on the main bulkhead. The outboard motor is mounted in a well, yet can tip up out of the water so as to not slow down the boat when under sail and it does not detract from the pleasant lines of the boat attached outboard of the transom.  This boat is priced right as she needs some TLC, but the quality is sound and the price is very attractive and the boat will provide lots of comfort and enjoyment for anyone looking for a bargain or entry level affordability.  The boat is mounted on a flatbed trailer supported by a steel cradle, so not designed for ramp launching, but perfect for transporting and this arrangement enables you to store it at home, if you have the space. Unlike the original Lancer 25 with long non-opening side ports, this boat has 6 opening ports for good cross ventilation along with a forward hatch as well as the companionway hatch.
